Each right hand page has an image of the dragon as it jumps, summersaults and lands. This is designed like a Flick book, to look as though it is moving if the viewer flicks through the pages.
The front inside cover offers the surprise of an envelope/slip that houses three swap cards with different images and facts associated with The Reluctant Dragon story. One gives information on the author Kenneth Grahame, the second information about St.George and the last discusses Dragons. As pictured below.
